The Bylaws of Farmers Inc.  call for an 18 member Board of Directors to oversee the direction and policy of the company.  They have full fiduciary responsibility to manage the assets of the company on behalf of the stockholders.  A stockholders meeting is held each year to elect 6 Board members to serve a 3 year term.
